About the firm
BLACK LABEL CONSULTANTS LLC is a business management consulting firm serving owners who have outgrown the systems that got them started.
Every engagement begins the same way: understanding the business as it runs today, not as an org chart says it should. We sit with the people doing the work, look at the numbers behind the reports, and find where effort is being spent without a return.
Our consultants bring experience across service businesses, professional practices, and multi-location operations. That range matters, because the fix for a stalled company is rarely a single tactic. It is usually a combination of clearer strategy, better-defined processes, and a team that knows exactly what it owns.
We are candid about what we find. If the problem is pricing rather than productivity, we will say so. If a system you already own would solve the issue, we will show you how to use it instead of recommending a new one. The goal is a business that runs well after we leave, not a dependency on us.
Everything is documented. You get written findings, process maps, and measures your team can use long after the engagement ends, not a slide deck that sits in a drive folder.

Four core service areas, delivered on their own or combined into a single engagement depending on what the assessment turns up.
We map how work moves through your business, find the handoffs where time and quality are lost, and rebuild those workflows with clear steps, owners, and checkpoints.
A strategic roadmap grounded in your market, your capacity, and your numbers. We help you decide which opportunities to pursue and which to decline.
For new ventures, expansions, and funding conversations. We analyze market conditions, competition, and financial projections, then build a plan you can put in front of a bank or a partner.
Ongoing advisory for owners who want an experienced consultant in the room for the decisions that matter between planning cycles.
Our process
Engagements follow the same sequence regardless of size, because skipping the first phase is what makes most consulting projects fail.
Interviews with you and your team, a review of current processes and performance data, and a walk-through of daily operations. We identify what is already working before we touch anything. Typically one to three weeks.
A written set of findings with prioritized actions, expected impact, required resources, and a realistic timeline. We present it in person, answer questions, and you decide what moves forward and in what order.
We work with your team to put the changes in place, document the new processes, train the people who will run them, and set the measures that show whether the changes are holding.
Engagement options
Not every business needs a full engagement. We scope the work to the size of the problem.
A focused review of one area of the business with written findings and prioritized recommendations. The right starting point when you know something is off but not exactly where.
A defined initiative with a start, a finish, and agreed deliverables. Common examples are a new location rollout, a full process rebuild, or a business plan for funding.
A standing relationship with scheduled reviews and access between them. Suited to owners who want continuity as the company grows rather than a one-time fix.
Why owners choose us
No recommendation goes out before we have seen how the work actually happens. Advice given without that context is guesswork, and it is expensive guesswork.
Process documentation, templates, financial models, and reporting formats stay with your business. They are written so your team can maintain and update them.
You know what is being delivered, by when, and for how much before work begins. Changes to scope are discussed and approved, not billed as a surprise.
The people running the business day to day are involved throughout. Changes designed without them do not survive contact with a Monday morning.
If an engagement is not the right use of your money, we will tell you that in the first conversation. A short answer that saves you a quarter is worth more than a long project.
Every recommendation comes with a way to tell whether it worked. We set the measure before the change, so results are not a matter of opinion afterward.
Who we work with
Most companies come to BLACK LABEL CONSULTANTS LLC during a transition: entering a new market, restructuring a team, absorbing fast growth, or correcting a stretch of declining performance. Common situations include:
If your situation is not on this list, it does not mean we cannot help. The underlying issues are usually the same across industries: unclear ownership of work, processes that were never written down, and a plan that has not been revisited since the business changed shape.
Client feedback
They analyzed our processes properly before recommending a single change, then gave us strategies that actually moved the numbers. The attention to detail and the follow-through set them apart. We are running more efficiently and we are far better positioned for the next stage of growth.
Business owner, Broward County, Florida
We had written procedures before, but nobody used them because they did not match how the work happened. The rebuilt versions did. Training a new hire went from a month of shadowing to about a week.
Operations manager, service company
The straight answers were the most valuable part. We were told plainly which of our plans would not work and why, which saved us from an expansion we were not ready to staff.
Managing partner, professional practice
Office & availability
Our office is in Hollywood, Florida, serving Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties on site. Clients in other states work with us remotely, with visits arranged when an engagement calls for them.
Questions
A business management consultant analyzes how an organization operates, identifies where performance is being lost, and recommends specific changes to improve results. That can cover strategy, process design, staffing structure, financial planning, or all of them together. The work is diagnostic first and prescriptive second.
Usually when there is a challenge that needs outside expertise, or a change the internal team does not have the bandwidth to design and execute. Common triggers are entering a new market, restructuring, preparing for growth, or correcting a period of declining performance. If the same problem keeps recurring after several attempts to fix it internally, that is a good signal.
We start by learning your industry, goals, and constraints, then work with your team to assess existing processes and find the real friction points. Recommendations are built from what we find inside your business, not from a standard template applied to every client.
It depends on scope. A focused operations assessment usually runs two to four weeks. A full strategic plan with implementation support often runs three to six months. Ongoing advisory relationships continue for as long as they are useful. Timelines are agreed in writing before work begins.
Fees depend on the scope of work, the size of the business, and how much implementation support is included. We quote a defined price after the first conversation, before any work starts. There are no hourly surprises, and any change in scope is discussed and approved first.
Very little for the first conversation. Once an engagement begins, we will ask for access to relevant financial summaries, any existing process documentation, and time with the people who run the areas in question. If none of that exists in writing yet, that is common and it is part of what we build.
Discovery is the most time-intensive phase, usually a few hours per key person spread across a couple of weeks. After that, the demand drops. We design around your operating schedule rather than pulling people off the floor during peak hours.
Yes. Our office is in Hollywood, Florida, and we work with clients in other states remotely, with on-site visits arranged when an engagement calls for them.
Yes. Financial data, operational details, and anything else shared during an engagement stay confidential. We are glad to sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement before discovery begins.
You keep every document we produce, including process maps, procedures, templates, and reporting formats. We hand off with a working session so your team knows how to maintain and update them. Many clients move to a periodic review afterward, but that is optional.
Reach out through our contact page or call the office. We will schedule an initial conversation to understand your situation, then outline what an engagement would involve and what it would cost before you commit to anything.
